The Transformation Program For Your Church
What is The Transformation Program?
Transformation is a 50 day journey of faith and fellowship that allows you to follow in the footsteps of Jesus disciples from the Feast of Passover to the Feast of Pentecost. Seekers and Believers alike will realize at a deeper level what it truly means to be a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
For over 3 years the disciples of Jesus followed and witnessed His ministry and miracles. Yet at His death on the cross, all of them forsook Him and failed to realize the true nature of what it meant to be a disciple.
It was not until those 50 Days after His death (From the Feast of Passover until the Feast of Pentecost) that they received from Jesus the full realization of His purpose and plan of salvation.
By completing the Transformation Program, you too will realize the revelation and power of consecrated discipleship in your church.

Program Outline
Theme 1
The Gospel According to Matthew - Living a Life of Brokenness
In this devotion we will learn powerful lessons of faith from those who chose to trust God through life’s trials as opposed to those who did not. With a world of brokenness all about us, it is important that we learn to trust the only one who can put the pieces back together.
In this devotion we will be looking at the powerful sermon Jesus taught on the Beatitudes. We will discover how to paint a masterpiece God’s way as well as realize the trade that God makes with us as we put our trust in Him
In this devotion we will be looking today at the “Cost of Discipleship”. What does it mean to take up our cross and follow Him? What are the benefits that come from an intense pursuit of our Lord?
In this devotion we will journey to four cities that powerfully illustrate for us the importance of living a life of repentance. What does it mean to truly repent and how does this relate to the power of God in our lives? In this lesson realize that true power in God comes when we turn away from sin.
In this devotion we will explore how failure can become a teacher of some of faith’s greatest lessons. In today’s devotion, Failing to Win, one disciples shortcomings will challenge us to keep our focus on the Lord when life doesn’t make sense.
In this devotion let us learn our true identity in Him. What are we building our experience with Christ upon? Is it a solid foundation? What influences us the most? Are they things from without or within? As we answer these questions we will come to more fully understand who we are in this present hour.
In this devotion we will discover what it means to cleanse the temple. What are you putting into your temple that will help you become that abiding place for God’s presence to dwell within? Also, How can the cleansing of our temple help lead others into the presence of a loving and holy God?
In this devotion we will focus on the principle of God’s desire to rebuild whatever He tears down through the process of spiritual brokenness. But in order for this to happen we must first learn to build things God’s way because the ways of this world only lead to ruin and failure.
In this devotion we will open our eyes to the depth of understanding that our Lord has concerning our failures. The knowledge of God is deeply explored in this lesson as we find hope and strength in the revelation that He knows we will fail, but He also knows how He will pick us up.
In this devotion we conclude the Gospel of Matthew and our theme of Brokenness. As we do so, we will invest ourselves deeply in the reality of what it feels like to be forsaken and how our God can understand the intense and deep feelings that we experience as humans. Does He really understand what we face in this mortal realm? The answer to this question is profound can only be discovered at the foot of the Cross where He died for our sins.
Theme 2
The of Gospel According to Mark - Living a Life of Restoration
In this devotion we begin the Gospel of Mark. As we immerse ourselves in this book over the next ten days we will focus on the powerful theme of restoration. We will stand in awe of our Lord’s seemingly illogical desire to touch a leprous man. We will explore how this relates to us and how it can also be translated into the lives of others through our own willingness to touch the life of someone else.
In this devotion you will come to know that God truly cares for you in the midst of life’s storms. The boisterous and tumultuous nature of life can sometimes teach us a very different lesson, leading to fear and apprehension concerning our future. But one word from Jesus can make all the difference.
We will forcefully confront the enemy of our soul in this devotion and at the same time realize the power we have to defeat this enemy. We also will learn the power that comes through the name of Jesus and the destiny of the one who comes against those who wear that name in baptism.
In this devotion we will discover how radical expressions of faith can influence our God for eternal purpose. Can we truly trouble the master for our situation? Realize the blessing that comes from bold faith and persistent faith.
In this devotion we will sit at the feet of the master teacher and learn the patience with which He is willing to instruct us. Even when we don’t get the lesson, let us always know that the Lord gets (or understands) us.
This devotion challenges us to know that mistakes can be turned into miracles through the power of God working in us. Faith in our walk with God is not alway perfect but when it falls short, God’s love for us makes up the difference.
This devotion teaches you to learn the beauty that God sees in you. Even when our life does not seem to have all of the pieces in place, God can still reflect His glory in us and through us if we will set aside pragmatism and draw faith instead from deep inside
In this devotion we will reach for a deeper connection with God through our desire to “Know Him”. This lesson reaches into the core of our faith and centers our trust in Him. We will speak to the fire and the passion of our faith today.
This devotion will help us grow in our understanding that our Lord regards very highly the love that we show for Him in our devotion and sacrifice. He does not forget these expressions and by understanding this we can be drawn toward a greater life of worship and focus in God.
In this devotion we will immerse ourselves in the power of the risen Lord. The knowledge that we do not serve a dead God, but instead a God who is alive forevermore, liberates us to walk in our own newness of life with confidence.
Theme 3
The Gospel According to Luke - Living a Life of Purpose
As we delve into the Gospel of Luke the next ten days we will focus on the powerful theme of our purpose in Him. We will discover the importance of certainty in our faith. Knowing God is not a religious practice steeped in tradition and custom, but instead is built on our relationship with God and the works He performs in us. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is a remarkably personal experience and through experiences and miraculous helps, God leads us closer to Him.
In this devotion let us enquire of ourselves, “Am I Led of the Spirit?”. Sometimes this may lead us to places of discomfort but it is also the place in which God can most effectively speak with us. God is calling. Will you follow His Leading?
In this devotion we will learn the joy that comes from learning to listen to God. Today’s devotion will take us to a place where we can tune in and listen for that voice of God’s direction. There are many ways in which God can speak. Of more importance is the question, “Are we listening?”.
In this devotion we can heed the dangers of impatient faith in our lesson on, “Concealed to be Revealed”. We may not always understand how God is working but we can know most definitely that He is working. Learning to be patient in our faith allows us to find rest in Him.
Todays reading of the Gospel of Luke will further reinforce our theme of restoration as we meet, “The One who Showed Him Mercy”. In this impactful devotion immerse yourself in God’s grace and learn the value of reflecting that grace into the life of others.
Today we will explore how to avoid living a life of anxiety by instead living a life centered in trusting God. Our hearts follow what we treasure, so what path is our heart on? Answering this question will help clearly define your purpose in life.
This devotion will teach us where one of the greatest blessings of life comes from. Understanding the source of this blessing will cause us as disciples of Christ to open our eyes to the many needs that surround us.
In this devotion we will deeply explore the importance of fervency in our prayers concerning God’s work in this world. Why do we pray? What do we pray for? Do our motives match the will of God? As we pursue answers to these questions we discover a new power and authority in our prayers.
This devotion will lead us to an understanding of how God can sometimes take us on journey into the past to help define our future. He knows the end from the beginning and as such masterfully defines our lives by His mercy and love. Let us learn the lesson today of “Purpose in Failure”.
In this devotion we will search out how expectations that people have of us and how we respond to those expectations can determine our success in God. To learn this lesson, we observe our own Lord clearly define His purpose in the face of wrong expectations as He pursues the greater expectations of heaven.
Theme 4
The Gospel According to John - Living a Life with God’s Promises
As we begin our study of the Gospel of John over the next ten days we will realize the many powerful promises God has made to us through His word. We will discover that God has saved the best for last. In this devotion, a simple wedding celebration and Jesus first recorded miracle, speak of a coming promise that will change the world forever.
In this devotion we will peer into eternity today as we celebrate “The Promise of Eternal Life”. In a secret meeting with Jesus a man of great prominence will in todays devotion learn the only way in which someone can possess this promise.
In this devotion we will realize the promise of rest that God has given us. We will answer the questions, What is rest?” and “What does it mean to both God and man?”.
Today we will learn of the “Promise of the Name of Jesus”. Why is this name so important to the Christian believer? Realize in this devotion how one singular name can represent so many different promises given to us in God’s word.
In this devotion we will have our eyes opened to God’s promise of sight in a dark world. One man’s miracle will also become our revelation as we learn the value of lighting our world with the hope of God’s love and salvation.
In this devotion we will hear the testimony of one my greatest heroes. In this world we can and will experience many miracles as children of God, but Jesus wants us to learn the more important lesson that He is the resurrection and life. This is the greatest miracle we will ever experience in Him.
In this devotion we will learn that all of us need some help. And what greater source of help than the Holy Spirit as it empowers us to live triumphantly. Celebrate today as we rejoice in the help that comes from “The Promise of the Holy Spirit”.
This devotion will make us realize how God has unified us with Him and our fellow brothers and sister in Christ. We are a part of the family of God and as such we can show the world the powerful lesson of “The Promise of Oneness” as we bind together in Him.
In this devotion we will venture out into a dangerous world and discover our true source of safety. So buckle up, put on your spiritual safety helmet, and let us learn about “The Promise of God’s Protection”.
As we conclude our study of the Gospel of John and the assurances of God’s promises, today we will expand our understanding of the word of God through the simple but powerful truth that this is our message. As much as it belonged to Peter, James, John and all of the disciples of the first century, it also belongs to you and I. We are Transformed by the promises of God as He works in us. We should not read the Bible as a history book from ages gone by, but rather as His-Story to each one of us. And His-Story will change you. It is “The Promise of Transformation.”
Theme 5
The Book of the Acts of the Apostles - Living a Life with God’s Power
As we begin our study of the Book of the Acts of the Apostles, over the next ten days we will realize the power God has given His people. We will discover that God has given us a law of life versus a law of death.
In this devotion we equip ourselves with one of the most powerful weapons of faith that we possess as a child of God. When we pray heaven hears us and answers, so let the church rise up and pray.
In todays devotion we will embark on a journey of faith that will challenges us to understand the power of a sacrifice that is given to God. We will also realize that it is not the size of the sacrifice that counts but instead how much it cost us. The work of God is performed when we realize “The Power of Sacrifice”.
In our devotion we will empower ourselves with the understanding of the work of God’s mercy in our lives and how it equips us to do mighty deeds through Him. Our effectiveness in Christ is not found within us, but rather within Him as we understand really how great God’s grace is toward us.
In this devotion the shackles of fear, oppression, and defeat fall at our feet as we discover true liberty in God. It has been said that Freedom is not free and this finds its greatest truth in the Christian life when we realize that our Lord and Savior gave His life that we might be free. Rejoice as a spiritual patriot today and wave the banner of Christ’s liberty for all to see.
In todays devotion we will shake up our faith with the power of praise. God loves it when we worship Him. He also responds to worship and dwells in the place where people praise Him. So let us lift our voices in praise today and every day unto the God of our salvation.
In this devotion we will immerse ourselves in the importance of “The Power of Truth”. Many voices speak in our world today and information is easily accessed via technology, and yet never has their been a greater time of misinformation and false teachings. Let our hearts in this hour and day be set upon seeking truth and not simply knowledge. Let us glory in the wisdom of God and not man.
In our devotion we find that God will often use the miraculous as a way to encourage us as believers. A testimony, a praise, a healing or whatever supernatural work God ministers into our lives has the power to lift us up and remind us of the magnificence of the God we serve.
Today as we prepare to close out the Book of Acts and our study of the power that God grants us through His Spirit, we will focus on “The Power of a Destiny”. God has a plan for your life and today through prayer and study you will seek to add definition to your destiny. So embolden your vision for your purpose in life and let God’s Spirit lead you in His plans for your future.
What a journey this has been as we have traversed all four of the Gospels of Jesus Christ and the Book of the Acts of the Apostles in pursuit of God’s transformational work in our lives. I hope that you have prayed new and fresh prayers, built God centered relationships, and come to a deeper understanding of what it means to truly be a disciple of Jesus. The greater news that I can encourage you with today, is that your journey is not over, it has only begun. So I challenge you to exercise your faith like never before and experience “The Power to Write Another Chapter”. The best story you will ever write is your story, as you put your faith in God. Thank you for be willing to do that by giving yourself to a life of God’s Transformation!
